"From the Airport to a Clinic in Bangkok: What International Visitors Should Prepare"
3 min read· 5 Oct 2026

Travelling internationally for a clinic appointment adds a layer of coordination that a normal holiday trip doesn't have. You're arriving after a long flight, possibly jet-lagged, carrying luggage, and trying to reach an appointment that was likely booked weeks in advance. A little preparation before you land makes the transfer from Suvarnabhumi (BKK) or Don Mueang (DMK) straightforward.
Have your flight details ready
When you book your transfer, provide:
- Your flight number
- Your scheduled landing time
- Which airport you're arriving at — Suvarnabhumi or Don Mueang
Flight numbers let a driver track your arrival rather than guess at a fixed time, which matters more than usual when you have a fixed appointment waiting at the other end.
Know your clinic's exact address and appointment time
Bangkok has many clinics, and names can be similar across different buildings or even different parts of the city. Before you travel, confirm:
- The clinic's full name and branch
- The exact address, ideally including the building name and floor if it's inside a larger complex
- Your appointment time, and whether you need to arrive earlier for registration or paperwork
If anything about the address is unclear, it's worth contacting us to confirm before your flight, so the pickup can be planned properly on the day.
Build in a realistic buffer between landing and your appointment
International arrivals involve several steps before you reach a car: immigration, baggage claim, and customs, in that order. These can take anywhere from a short while to considerably longer, depending on how busy the airport is and how many flights have landed around the same time. We can't promise a fixed time for this part of the journey since it's outside our control, but it's worth:
- Avoiding booking a clinic appointment immediately after landing if at all possible
- Telling the clinic your flight details when you book the appointment, so they understand you're arriving internationally
- Keeping a phone number reachable on arrival, in case your pickup time needs adjusting
Know your luggage situation
Our one vehicle, a DENZA D9, comfortably takes up to 4 passengers and 4 bags. If you're travelling with more luggage than that — extra suitcases, medical equipment, or bulky items — let us know in advance so we can confirm whether it will fit, or advise if it won't.
Have a contact number reachable on arrival
International SIM cards, roaming, and local numbers can all behave differently once you land. Before your flight:
- Make sure you have a number you can be reached on once you touch down, whether that's roaming, a local SIM, or WhatsApp over airport wifi
- Save our contact number, +66 95 564 5989, so you can reach us by call or WhatsApp if anything changes
- Let someone at your destination (a clinic contact, a hotel, or family) know your estimated arrival time
A clinic is treated as an ordinary destination
It's worth being clear about this: we don't offer any special medical arrangement for clinic visits. A clinic is simply an address like any hotel, office, or home — you tell us where to go, and we take you there. We don't name, recommend, or promote any particular clinic, and we have no role in your medical care, appointment, or treatment.
This is private passenger transport only. There is no medical equipment on board and no medically trained staff. If you require medical assistance, including during the journey, please contact Thailand's emergency services rather than relying on this transfer.
What to prepare before booking
A quick checklist:
- Flight number, airport, and landing time
- Clinic's full name, branch, and exact address
- Appointment time and any required arrival/registration buffer
- Number of passengers and bags
- A phone number reachable after landing
With these details ready, you can book on our website in a few minutes with no account required, and you'll see the price before you pay.
Frequently asked questions
Will the driver know which clinic I mean if there are several with similar names?
Please provide the full clinic name, branch, and exact address when you book, since similar names are common in Bangkok. If you're unsure, contact us to confirm before your flight.
Is there anything special arranged for clinic visits?
No. A clinic is treated as an ordinary destination like any other address in Bangkok. This is private passenger transport only, not medical transport or medical assistance.
